Vardzia is a cave monastery complex of the 12th-13th centuries in the south of Georgia, in Javakheti. An outstanding monument of medieval Georgian architecture. It is located in the Aspindz region of Samtskhe-Javakheti province, in the valley of the river Kura (Mtkvari), about 70 km south of Borjomi, near the village of the same name. Within 900 meters along the left bank of the Kura, up to 600 rooms are carved in the steep wall of the tuff mountains of Yerusheti (Bear). Churches, chapels, living cells, storerooms, baths, refectory, financial institutions, libraries. The premises of the complex go 50 meters deep into the rock and rise to a height of eight floors. Secret passages that connected the rooms, the remnants of the water pipe and the irrigation system were preserved.

Tetnuldi is the peak in the spur of the Bezengi Wall, the Main Caucasian Range in the Upper Svaneti region, Georgia, 2 km south of the summit of Gestola and the Russian Federation border (Kabardino-Balkaria). The height is 4852 m. The summit is two-headed, composed of ancient crystalline rocks. Tetnuld glaciers are drained by Oish, Nageb, (Inguri sources), Adish, and others. The total area of glaciers is 46 km2. 22 km to the west of the summit is the regional center of Mestia. For today, the ascent to Tetnuld is a sporting climb of an average difficulty category.
